The service

The Background Remover is an online tool that removes the background from images. Standard background removal runs in your browser and is provided free of charge. Paid plans add higher-resolution output and higher usage limits.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only with images you own or have the right to edit, and not for any unlawful, infringing, or harmful purpose. You are responsible for the content you process and how you use the results.

Accounts and billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) until canceled. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, who acts as the seller of record for your purchase. You can cancel anytime; see our Refund Policy for our 30-day money-back guarantee.

Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the images you process. We claim no ownership over your content or your results.

Service "as is"

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Background removal results may vary by image, and we do not guarantee a specific output quality. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
